Elmwood is proceeding with its intention to open a natural burial area and, possibly, a scattering ground. Our bylaws and regulations updates were approved by our AGM and we are in the process of submitting them to the BAO for final approval. The next steps will be to create a detailed layout of the area and to do some landscaping to remove buckthorn and other invasive plants from the area.

We were featured in the Perth Courier as well as the InsideOttawValley.com website. Additionally, we were interviewed on CBC Ottawa’s “All in a Day” program by Stu Mills (sitting in for Alan Neal).
